One letter, a handful of categories, a clock. Everyone writes a word for each; unique answers score double. Ergod reads the letter, judges the answers and calls the podium, and takes a seat so one person can play.
One person is enough to start; Ergod fills the empty seats, and the rest of the room joins as it arrives.
How a friend joins your table — by invite code, at an open table, or in the voice channel.
How many categories, which letters can open a round, and how long the clock runs. One person is enough to start: Ergod takes a seat and writes too.
The lobby shows a ready tick beside each seat and an invite someone button for the people who are not here yet.
One letter, and the categories for the round go up. Everyone writes a word for each before the clock runs out.
Answers are judged, unique answers score double, shared answers score as you set them, and the next round deals itself.
After the rounds you chose, Ergod calls the podium, with play again and share on it.
Ergod steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium. Rounds move on by themselves on the clock you set, and the host can always press ahead.
Each of these is a knob on the table. Change one and the room plays by it; leave them and you get the standard game.
The letters a round can open with. The default is the alphabet without Q, X and Z.
How many categories each round asks for. Between 3 and 8.
Short category names, up to 60 of them; each round draws from this list. Make them about this server.
How long the room has to write. Between 30 and 120.
How many rounds before the podium. Between 1 and 5.
1 scores a valid answer nobody else gave as 2 points; 0 scores it as 1.
1 gives a valid answer two or more players wrote 1 point each; 0 gives it nothing.
0 to 2 seats Ergod takes at Start, so one person can play. Ergod's words for the round use the starter's usage; a seat with nothing in by the deadline scores blanks and never holds the round.
Once the answers are judged the next round deals itself after this many seconds, 0 to 60. 0 waits for the host; the host can always press Next round sooner.
In Categories, Ergod runs the room: it is the voice that reads, calls and judges, so nobody has to sit out to host. When seats are empty it fills them itself, so one person can play a real game, and it steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium.
Table chat. A strip under the board where the room talks between turns. Ergod sees the board and answers; say “Ergod” to get a reply. People watching can react with an emoji.
Voice. Off until you switch it on. Turn it on and Ergod says hello, then says its table lines aloud in the voice you pick — puck, fenrir, lewis, bella, emma, witch, orion, hera, echo, ash or fable. The switch is yours alone.
Music. A quiet loop keyed to the game, on by default and one tap to turn off, right beside Voice under the board. It steps back when a result lands.
It learns. Before each move Ergod is handed what happened the last times this exact position came up and its own notes from earlier matches at this table, so it does not walk into the same trap twice.
Open tables. A host can open a table to everyone. Anyone signed in can join a seat or watch, and the host can remove someone.
One screen. While a game is on, the table takes the whole panel: a slim bar, the board, the chat strip. Fullscreen is one tap, and so is the way out — Back, Leave, or End table for whoever started it.
Ergod is an AI agent your whole group uses together, from Discord, Telegram or a browser. Ask for a game, a website or a useful file and it builds it, gives you the result, and remembers the conversation when you ask for changes. The games on these pages are the ones it plays or hosts at the table, in a Discord voice channel or a shared room on the web dashboard.
Start here if agents are new to you · The Discord Activity is where a voice channel plays, and the same Activity opens from a DM or group DM once Ergod is on your account · The dashboard’s Play tab is where a browser does. The same tables open inside Telegram once the bot is set up for it.
A daily usage allowance that resets every day, no card. Enough for a match or a few, with 1 GB of workspace and up to three shared Discord channel rooms hosted across servers.
Pro is 2.5× Free’s usage and Pro+ is 5×, on a rolling seven-day window so a long game night can spend it in one sitting: more matches, longer sessions, and more matches for Ergod to remember you by.
Purchased credits never expire and are used after the usage included with your plan runs out. With your own provider key the same usage goes about 5× further, on every plan.
Sign in with Discord, GitHub or Google and Ergod is seated before you are. Free tier, no card, nothing to install.
