Fill the room
One person is enough to start: Ergod fills a seat or three, so you play a real field. The lobby shows a ready tick beside each seat and an invite someone button, and the field locks at the size you set, up to twenty-five.

Answer on the clock
Ergod reads the question and everyone answers at once. Answers after the clock are refused, and the next question opens itself.

Score
Ergod calls the answer and keeps score. Speed and streak bonuses are yours to turn on or off, and the podium has play again and share on it.
Ergod steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium. Rounds move on by themselves on the clock you set, and the host can always press ahead.

The questions
A list of { q, options (two to four), answer_index }. Ask Ergod to write a set about this room and it becomes yours.
Seconds per question
How long everyone has to answer, 10 to 60. Answers after the clock are refused.
Speed bonus
1 adds up to 1000 extra points for a fast correct answer, scaled by the time left.
Streak bonus
1 adds 100 points per consecutive correct answer, up to 500.
Most players
The field locks at this many, 2 to 25.
Ergod contestants
0 to 3 seats Ergod fills at Start, so one person can play a real field. They answer on the server's coin a few seconds in; no usage is spent on them.
Ergod's accuracy (percent)
How often an Ergod contestant gets a question right, 50 to 90.
Seconds before the next question
After the reveal the next question opens itself after this many seconds, 0 to 60. 0 waits for the host; the host can always press Next sooner.
Ergod at the table Hosts
In Live Quiz, Ergod runs the room: it is the voice that reads, calls and judges, so nobody has to sit out to host. When seats are empty it fills them itself, so one person can play a real game, and it steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium.
Every table has these
Table chat. A strip under the board where the room talks between turns. Ergod sees the board and answers; say “Ergod” to get a reply. People watching can react with an emoji.
Voice. Off until you switch it on. Turn it on and Ergod says hello, then says its table lines aloud in the voice you pick — puck, fenrir, lewis, bella, emma, witch, orion, hera, echo, ash or fable. The switch is yours alone.
Music. A quiet loop keyed to the game, on by default and one tap to turn off, right beside Voice under the board. It steps back when a result lands.
It learns. Before each move Ergod is handed what happened the last times this exact position came up and its own notes from earlier matches at this table, so it does not walk into the same trap twice.
Open tables. A host can open a table to everyone. Anyone signed in can join a seat or watch, and the host can remove someone.
One screen. While a game is on, the table takes the whole panel: a slim bar, the board, the chat strip. Fullscreen is one tap, and so is the way out — Back, Leave, or End table for whoever started it.

Ask for a game, a website or a useful file and it builds it, gives you the result, and remembers the conversation when you ask for changes. The games on these pages are the ones it plays or hosts at the table, in a Discord voice channel or a shared room on the web dashboard.
