Games · Ergod hosts

Spymasters, with Ergod.

Two teams, one 5x5 grid of words. Each team's clue-giver sees the key and gives one word and a number; the team taps words. Find all of yours first, never touch the assassin. Ergod referees, gives clues for a team with nobody to give them, and plays a team with nobody on it by itself, so one person can play.

How a match goes

From the first tap to the result.

One person is enough to start; Ergod fills the empty seats, and the rest of the room joins as it arrives.

How a friend joins your table — by invite code, at an open table, or in the voice channel.

  1. 01

    Make two teams

Red and blue. The first team has nine words to find and goes first; the other has eight. One person is enough to start: Ergod plays a team with nobody on it by itself.

  2. 02

    Name a clue-giver

Each team picks one. If a team has nobody, Ergod can take the job. The lobby shows a ready tick beside each seat and an invite someone button.

  3. 03

    Clue and tap

The clue-giver sees the key and gives one word and a number; the team taps words on the grid.

  4. 04

    Find yours first

Find all of your words before the other team does, and never touch the assassin. Ergod referees, and the podium has play again and share on it.

Ergod steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium. Rounds move on by themselves on the clock you set, and the host can always press ahead.

House rules

Set the table your way.

Each of these is a knob on the table. Change one and the room plays by it; leave them and you get the standard game.

Word pool

Leave empty for the built-in 200 plain nouns. Or give at least 25 different single words (letters only); every grid draws 25 of them.

First team

red or blue. The first team has nine words to find and goes first; the other has eight.

Ergod gives clues

1 seats Ergod as the clue-giver of any team that has none when the game starts; 0 refuses to start until each team names one.

Players

How many can join, from 4 to 25.

Ergod at the table Hosts

In Spymasters, Ergod runs the room: it is the voice that reads, calls and judges, so nobody has to sit out to host. When seats are empty it fills them itself, so one person can play a real game, and it steps in at the beats a host would: the reveal, the call, the podium.

Every table has these

Table chat. A strip under the board where the room talks between turns. Ergod sees the board and answers; say “Ergod” to get a reply. People watching can react with an emoji.

Voice. Off until you switch it on. Turn it on and Ergod says hello, then says its table lines aloud in the voice you pick — puck, fenrir, lewis, bella, emma, witch, orion, hera, echo, ash or fable. The switch is yours alone.

Music. A quiet loop keyed to the game, on by default and one tap to turn off, right beside Voice under the board. It steps back when a result lands.

It learns. Before each move Ergod is handed what happened the last times this exact position came up and its own notes from earlier matches at this table, so it does not walk into the same trap twice.

Open tables. A host can open a table to everyone. Anyone signed in can join a seat or watch, and the host can remove someone.

One screen. While a game is on, the table takes the whole panel: a slim bar, the board, the chat strip. Fullscreen is one tap, and so is the way out — Back, Leave, or End table for whoever started it.

New here? What Ergod is

Ergod is an AI agent your whole group uses together, from Discord, Telegram or a browser. Ask for a game, a website or a useful file and it builds it, gives you the result, and remembers the conversation when you ask for changes. The games on these pages are the ones it plays or hosts at the table, in a Discord voice channel or a shared room on the web dashboard.

Start here if agents are new to you · The Discord Activity is where a voice channel plays, and the same Activity opens from a DM or group DM once Ergod is on your account · The dashboard’s Play tab is where a browser does. The same tables open inside Telegram once the bot is set up for it.

Usage

Enough to play. More to keep playing.

Free

A daily usage allowance that resets every day, no card. Enough for a match or a few, with 1 GB of workspace and up to three shared Discord channel rooms hosted across servers.

Pro and Pro+

Pro is 2.5× Free’s usage and Pro+ is 5×, on a rolling seven-day window so a long game night can spend it in one sitting: more matches, longer sessions, and more matches for Ergod to remember you by.

Top up, or bring a key

Purchased credits never expire and are used after the usage included with your plan runs out. With your own provider key the same usage goes about 5× further, on every plan.

Spymasters is better with someone across the table.

Sign in with Discord, GitHub or Google and Ergod is seated before you are. Free tier, no card, nothing to install.
