Build anything by chatting. In Discord. Hosted. Free to start.

Tell Ergod what to build — sites, scripts, bots, tools — in plain English. It plans, writes, and runs the code in a private workspace, then ships the result back — files, a hosted preview link, a running tool, or just an answer.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

From a Discord message to working files — no install, no dashboard, no waiting on a build pipeline.

01

Add the bot — or join ours

One click adds Ergod to your Discord server. Or jump into our public playground and try it without owning a server.

02

@ it and ask

Plain English. "Build me a portfolio." "Write a script that…" "Make a bot that…" — Ergod plans the work and writes the code.

@Ergod build me…
03

Get something usable back

Files in the channel, a hosted preview link, a running script, an answer in plain English — whatever the task needed. Keep iterating in the same thread.

Find your fit

Whatever you bring, it builds.

Not just for developers. Pick your starting point — Ergod meets you there.

For the curious

Describe an idea. Get a working thing.

You don't need to know code, terminals, or cloud. Type what you want into Discord — Ergod plans, builds, runs, and hands you the files. Open them in your browser. Or drop them straight on a host.

Features

One bot. A whole toolbelt.

The essentials are free. Pro adds headroom and team features for when one workspace isn't enough.

Real workspaces, not chat snippets

Every Discord user gets a private, isolated Docker workspace. Files persist between sessions. The bot reads, writes, runs, and ships from inside it.

$ ls workspace/index.html styles.css menu.json$ python tip.py 28.50 0.18Tip: $5.13 Total: $33.63

It remembers you Persistent memory

"Save a memory that I'm a poodle person." "Remember I prefer Tailwind." Ergod writes facts and preferences to its memory store and pulls them back into every future session — across days, channels, and projects. The longer you use it, the more it understands.

memory ← user prefers concise replies
memory ← working on portfolio site
recall → "the usual stack" = React + Vite

Plans, then builds

Ergod isn't a one-shot model. It plans, picks tools, runs commands, reads errors, retries. You watch it think, in the channel.

Switch between a side project and a bug hunt without losing either. Names auto-generate.

Share a channel Pro

Open a single shared workspace for a whole channel. One Pro user sponsors it; everyone reads and writes the same files. Renews every 90 days; freezes if the sponsor lapses.

Admin controls Manage Channels

Gate Ergod to specific channels, block roles, set thread mode, scrub mentions. Uses Discord's existing Manage Channels permission — no new role to wire up.

Live demo

Type something. Watch what it'd do.

A taste — for the real thing, talk to it in Discord.

vs. the alternatives

Why hosted, in Discord?

The other ways to get an agent like this involve setup, a laptop staying awake, or a credit card before you've tried it.

FAQ

Things people ask first.

I don't really use Discord — is this for me?
You'll need a free Discord account to use Ergod (it's the front door). Once you're in our public server, you can start chatting with the bot in 30 seconds. No downloads, no extra accounts.
What can I actually use this for?
Anything you can describe and would normally write code for: a landing page for your business, a script that renames files, a Discord bot, a tip calculator, a small game, a research summary, a script to crunch a CSV. If it would take a developer an afternoon, Ergod can take a swing at it in minutes.
Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude directly?
Those return code snippets in a chat. Ergod actually runs them in your own sandboxed workspace, fixes its own errors, and ships finished files back to your server — and it lives where your community already is.
Is there really a free tier?
5 commands a day, 1 GB workspace, direct DMs, named sessions, image input, GitHub linking, and MCP — all free, no credit card. Pro ($9.99/mo) raises the cap to 40/day and adds premium model, collaborators, sub-agents, and channel sessions.
Need a few extra commands today?
Run /vote in Discord. It opens our top.gg page; one vote per UTC day adds +5 commands for the rest of the day on every tier — Free goes from 5 to 10, Pro from 40 to 45, Pro+ from 100 to 105. Vote daily and you build a streak that shows in /usage and /tier.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want in plain English. Ergod plans the work, writes the code, runs it, and gives you the files. If you want to learn, it explains what it did.
Is my code safe?
Every Discord user gets their own isolated Docker container. Files aren't visible across users in the same server. GitHub tokens are encrypted at rest and never written to the container filesystem — git reads them from an ephemeral helper, scoped to your turn only.
Which AI models does it use?
Today, every tier runs on a single high-capacity hosted model. Premium model choice — Claude, GPT, Gemini, OpenRouter — is rolling out to Pro. Free will stay on the standard model.
Can my whole team share one workspace?
Yes — that's a channel session. An admin opens a shared workspace for a channel and nominates a Pro user to sponsor it. Everyone in the channel reads and writes the same files together.
