Sign in and start typing. You do not need to install anything, own a server, or have ever used Ergod before — your workspace is created by your first message. The dashboard is the shortest path from nothing to a finished file, and everything below fills in once you have sent that message.
Signing in does not provision anything, and it does not have to. The first message you send creates the workspace behind it. Nothing to install, no server to own, no slash command to learn - and if you would rather use Discord, that stays a link on the same screen instead of a prerequisite.
The reply appears as the agent works, rewriting one message in place as it goes, with a live row naming the tool it is running right now - driven by the same state machine Discord reads from, not a second copy of it. Answers render as formatted text: headings, lists, links and real code blocks rather than raw asterisks and backticks. Your own avatar and name sit on the messages, so it reads as a conversation.
The full command set runs in the browser composer - /usage, /tier, /model, /memory and the whole of /session. Type / and a list opens with a description on every row, so you find out what exists instead of having to already know. Commands that cannot run on the web are listed too, with the reason, rather than quietly missing.
Walk your workspace directory tree, see sizes, and open a text file in place to read its source without leaving the page - images show as thumbnails you can open right there. Download any file straight to your machine - no /export zip needed when you just want the one file. Reading only: editing a file means asking the agent to change it.
Share a text file on a public URL that renders its source. The dashboard lists every link you've minted with its view count, so you can see one landed - and revoke it, which breaks it immediately.
See your saved sessions with their last-active times, start a new one, rename one in place, and switch the active one without typing a slash command. Come back to an empty session and it offers to resume the last one by name.
Your usage meter — how much of your window is left, as a percentage — plus your current tier and storage. On Pro and Pro+ the meter is a rolling 7-day pool, so a heavy afternoon borrows against a quiet week rather than stopping you at midnight. Upgrade or manage an existing subscription from the same card.
Work is the chat, your sessions, your files and your share links. Your ergod holds your own settings, your skills (reusable agent playbooks) and your scheduled tasks, each managed in place. Account is your plan, billing, usage detail and preferences - including the switch that stops Ergod DMing you. Servers is what a server you hold Manage Channels in is set to, and lets you change it; it appears only if you administer one. What Servers shows.
Pick your model — every tier gets the picker, with a shortlist curated per tier — from a list that shows how heavily each one draws on your usage, sorted cheapest first, so the trade-off is visible while you choose rather than after. Server admins set thread mode and mention scrubbing from the Servers page. Every control runs the same command the bot runs - one set of rules, whichever surface you use, so a tier limit cannot mean one thing here and another in Discord.
The dashboard is built down to a 375px viewport - the file browser, the chat log and the usage meter all hold their shape on a phone, which is where a Discord link usually gets opened.
