How do I run a shared channel session with Ergod?
A channel session is a whole-channel shared workspace hosted on one member's storage: any tier hosts, Free one at a time, Pro and Pro+ several. The commands below open, inspect, gate and close one, and /session here and /session default choose whether your own messages go into it. Collaborators are the other kind of sharing: named people in your personal workspace, a Pro feature. /workspace moves you between your own, a collaborator's and a channel's.
14 commands in 3 groups; all of them are Discord-only today, because they act on a server. Most days you will not type any of them: @Ergod and plain English is the normal way in.
A whole-channel shared workspace, hosted on the host's storage. Any tier hosts — Free one session at a time, Pro / Pro+ several — and it renews every 90 days. Not the same thing as sharing your own workspace with collaborators, which is Pro.
Nominate a user on any tier to host a shared session in this channel — the shared workspace lives on their storage (Free hosts one at a time; Pro / Pro+ host several). They Accept/Decline; session activates only after acceptance. Requires Manage Channels.
Close the channel session. Shared workspace is retained 90 days, then swept.
Show whether this channel has an open session, its host, next renewal, frozen state.
Block a user from being nominated, or block a whole channel. Pending nominations cancelled.
Remove an entry from the blocklist. Idempotent.
Show the current channel-session blocklist for this server.
Add individual users to your personal workspace. Different from channel sessions.
Grant one Discord user access to your personal workspace.
Revoke an individual's access. Their stale workspace view is cleared.
Show who currently has access to your personal workspace.
